I am Soh Hong Yu. I am fascinated by neural network and machine
learning since I was young. I enjoy developing apps like golf, 3D
models and even coded Arduino Robots. I also set up a YouTube
channel where I post Scratch tutorials and even set up my own
website.
Being the president of my school’s Robotics Club, I have
participated and won many competitions example, 1st runner up for
Maze Robot in International Microbit Challenge, Top 7 for Sumo Robot
in World Robot Games.
My pursuit of AI stems strongly
from my passion for utilising technology to transform our lives. I
want to use my knowledge to make an AI that can help in our daily
homes and integrate AI into our daily everyday life!

I believe that by learning and understanding our technological advancement and even pursuing our own technological breakthrough is important. Jack Ma’s inspirational quote has inspired me to empower others and learn with one another for greater insights on technological advancements.
I also have a strong belief in contributing back to society. Hence, I am actively involved in VIA projects. In 2019, I organized a Children carnival for a class VIA where we taught them dance and crafts. There were also many other events which I helped to plan, for example Mother's Day in collaboration with LTA to give out roses to all mothers, distribution of goodie bags to the less privileged and volunteering for Home Refresh at Blossom World Society. Hence, I am able to empathize with people and have the capability to work with different people.

I am supportive of other people and I am a positive and enthusiastic person. I would like to think that I am good to be around. I am a very caring and joyful person, I always strive to help my friends when they are in need and never let them down.

Since young, I have been watching the Pokémon Anime and fall in love
with Pokémon. Pokémon has been a part of my life for a long time!

Minecraft
I have been playing Minecraft since 2015 and til now I play Minecraft with my friends from DAAA and have a Minecraft Server together! Minecraft helped me improve my technical skills through coding using Raspberry Pi and Modding and help me develop Creatively through the building in Minecraft.
Games
I played and made games myself. Like Blazing Inferno and Freezing Frost . Here is a mini Dinosaur Run Game created using JavaScript.
